The Jacks squared off against Northern Collegiate Hockey Association opponent the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons today.

The Jacks scored early in the first period when Cole Woodliffe ripped a shot between the pipes, putting the Jacks up 1-0. He was assisted by Lucas DeBenedet and Max Glashauser on the play. The Jacks would continue to pressure the Falcons, but wouldn't be able to add to their lead. They went into the second up 1-0.

The Falcons struck first in the second to tie things up at 1-1. The Falcons were able to add another goal later in the period, taking their first lead of the game. They would add an insurance goal a few minutes later, bringing their lead up to 3-1. The Jacks would get to within one of the Falcons when Cole Woodliffe scored his second goal of the game. He was assisted by Kyle Gonzalez and Zackary Fisher on the play. The Jacks went into the third down 3-2.

The teams were even early in the third, as neither team would be able to score. However, with a little over three minutes remaining in the game Kurt Sonne would find the back of the net, tying the game up at 3-3, sending it into overtime.

The Falcons were able to score with 2:33 elapsed in the period to take the game.

David Krejcik finiished the day with 41 saves.

The Jacks will be back on the ice 1/18 at St. Norbert College. Puck drop is set for 7pm.
