The Jills hosted the University of Northwestern (MN) Eagles today.

The Jills got off to a fast start quickly jumping out to a 11-1 lead. The Eagles fought their way back to tie the game up at 13-13, but the Jills would regain the lead. The Jills would keep pressure on the Eagles and control the half. They would never be behind in the half and took a 21-17 lead into halftime.

The Jills continued to score in the second half, maintaining a comfortable lead over the Eagles. The Jills would eventually widen their lead to 35-21. However, the Eagles would fight their way back into the game, cutting the Jill lead down to 4. However, the Jills would never lose the lead. They would hold on to win by a final score of 52-45.

Mckayla Waggoner and Emily Wagner led the team with 12 points, while Sarah Houle added 9.

The Jills will be back on the court 2/7 against the North Central University Rams at home. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
