The Jills squared off against the College of St. Scholastica Saints tonight for an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference matchup.
The Jills fell behind early in the first half. However, they would battle back and take the lead at 6-5. A 7-0 run by the Saints later in the half, would allow them to retake the lead over the Jills. The Jills matched shots with the Saints, but went into halftime down 27-16.
The Saints got the scoring started in the second, increasing their lead over the Jills. The Jills battled their way throughout the second half, but the Saints were able to answer. The Jills weren't able to catch the Saints before the end of regulation and fell by a final score of 65-31.
Autumn Ninke led the team with 7 points, while Sarah Houle recorded 6.
The Jills will be back on the court on 2/17 at home against the University of Minnesota Morris. The game is scheduled for a 4pm start.
