The Jacks hosted NCHA opponent the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders today at home.
The Jacks wasted no time getting on the board as
Cole Woodliffe would find the back of the net to give the Jacks an early lead. He was assisted by
Ty Kraus and
Max Glashauser on the play. However, the Raiders would answer with a goal of their own later in the period. They would go into the first intermission tied up at 1-1.
The Raiders broke the tie 6:43 into the second period, taking a 2-1 lead. The Raiders would get one more before the end of the period, widening their lead to 3-1. The Jacks would create numerous opportunities, but wouldn't be able to get past the Raiders' defense.
Less than a minute into the third period, the Raiders would find the back of the net, taking a 4-1 lead. They would add one more before the end of the period. The Jacks chipped away at the deficit late, when
Lucas DeBenedet sent the puck into the back of the net. He would be assisted by
Connor Evans and
Kyle Pouncy. However, it wouldn't be enough as the Jacks would lose by a final score of 5-2.
Goaltender
Victor Forslund tallied 25 saves in the game. The Jacks would record 25 shots on the night.
The Jacks will be back at home tomorrow (11/10) against Concordia University Wisconsin. Puck drop is set for 4pm.
