The Jills squared off against the Bethany Lutheran College Vikings today for an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Matchup.

The Jills flew out to an early lead in the first, going on a 5-0 run to start the game. They held pressure on the Vikings, building their lead to 12-5. However, a 10-0 run by the Vikings would give them the 15-12 lead over the Jills. The Jills once again took the lead at 26-25. However, the Vikings would jump back ahead on their next possession. The Jills battled through the half, but would go into halftime down 48-36.

The Vikings got on the board first in the second and continued to put distance between themselves and the Jills. The Jills chipped away at the deficit, but key shots by the Vikings would make it difficult for the Jills to gain ground. The Jills would cut down the Viking lead, but it wouldn't be enough. The Vikings held on to win by a final score of 88-69.

The Jills will be back in action 1/30 on the road against Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI. The game is scheduled to begin at 6pm.
