ASHLAND, Wis. - For the second year in a row the Northland College LumberJack baseball program has qualified for the UMAC Tournament. With an 8-7 UMAC record the Jacks tied for the fourth and final seed and as a result will play Martin Luther College in the first ever play-in game on Thursday night at 6 pm at Wade Stadium in Duluth, Minn.
With a win Thursday Northland would advance to face the College of St. Scholastica at 1 pm Friday in the double-elimination round. With a victory in that game the Jacks would play at 7 pm, with a loss they would play at 4 pm Friday.
