Tom Walsh has joined the Men’s Soccer program as an assistant coach for the 2019 season.
Tom comes from Washington, DC where he was the head coach of the DCYFC Athletic U15 boys’ team, who competed in the EDP regional league. Tom was also the varsity assistant coach for the boys’ soccer team, for two years, at the Washington International School, who were conference champions and DC State Semi-finalists in the fall of 2018.
Overall, Tom has three years of high level youth soccer coaching experience since graduating from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing.
While at Wheeling Jesuit University, Tom played and started for the men’s program for four years. Wheeling never finished below .500 in his time there and were conference runner-ups in 2014. He accumulated 5 assists and one goal over his career as an outside back at the NCAA D2 level.
After graduating from Wheeling Jesuit, Tom went on to play for the DC Stoddert U23 CCLPro team for two years.
