Mike Lennon enters his 9th season on the LumberJack hockey staff as an Assistant Coach and the Coordinator for Recruiting. His vast responsibilities include video analysis, working with defensemen and assisting with special teams. Moreover, he will oversee the program’s off-ice strength and conditioning program.
Prior to coaching the LumberJacks, Lennon has previously coached at Total Hockey Training in Lakeville, Minn. and various summer camps and clinics throughout the U.S. Lennon is also the coordinator of recruiting for the Northland hockey program.
Lennon played in 104 games at Northland from 2010-2014 tallying 40 goals with 42 assists for 82 career points. He also led the team in scoring his junior year (13-17--30) and senior season (9-12--21). Lennon helped the Jacks qualify for the MCHA Tournament twice in his career and brought the program to it's first ever Harris Cup Semifinals as a Junior. Lennon was also also a three year captain for LumberJack Hockey.
