    "I was really drawn to the environmental focus of Northland. All the opportunities you are given go out in nature either for academic pursuits or general interest, sustainability is built into campus, and a large number of environmental-related classes all drew me to Northland. The second thing is community. I liked the small town feel, small class sizes, and accepting nature of Northland. I felt like Northland had my academic and personal interests in mind"
