ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Lacrosse team was bested 23-7 by Clarke University Monday evening in Ashland, Wis.

Brodie Trollop and
Elijah Clark were honored for Senior Day.

Less than a minute in,
Logan Gallagher started the scoring to put Northland on top early. Clarke responded with three straight goals. As the quarter was winding down,
Sam Lewis scored his first collegiate goal, and Gallagher scored another to tie things up at three. With 11 seconds remaining, Clarke would regain its lead.

Northland and Clarke traded goals the whole second quarter. Gallagher,
Avrey Roerick, and Trollop all scored for the LumberJacks. At half time, the Jacks trailed by one.

In the second half, the Jacks' offense was stifled, only recording three shots in the third and fourth quarters. Clarke continued to find success shooting, scoring 15 goals in the back half.

Gallagher led Northland with three goals. Trollop matched his points with two goals and one assist. Lewis and Roerick each added a goal, and Lewis and
PJ Northrop assisted on a goal. In net, Clark made 21 saves.
