ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Lacrosse team fell in its first Midwest Athletic Conference game 18-1 to Dubuque University Saturday morning in Ashland, Wis.

The LumberJacks could not match the pace of the Spartans. The Jacks were shut out until the fourth quarter when
Brodie Trollop scored the final goal of the game.

Northland was only able to manage to record four shots on goal.
Anden Stroik recorded two of the four with Trollop and
Andrew Liwiski having the other two.

Luke Ballard had a team-high four groundballs with Liwiski one behind him with three.
Max Shafer,
Bryson Cecconi, and Ballard all paced the team with two caused turnovers.

Tony Donaldson made the start in net. The sophomore made a career-high 17 saves in the loss.

The Jacks continue MLC play next week when they travel to Lake Forest College for a noon game on Saturday.
