ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Lacrosse team wins its first home game of the season, topping Earlham College 10-9 Saturday afternoon in Ashland, Wis.

With the win the LumberJacks improve to 2-4 and the Quakers fall to 3-2.

Northland came out fast, scoring in the first 30 seconds from George Haigley. Before the five-minute mark, NC doubled its lead with another goal from Haigley. Soon after Earlham got on the board to cut the lead to one. Matt Maudsley made it 3-1 before the first quarter was over.

Northland was blanked in the second quarter. The Quakers took the lead into the half after scoring five unanswered.
