MEQUON, Wis. – The Northland College Lacrosse team fell in the 2024 season open 28-3 to Concordia University (Wis.) in a nonconference game Saturday afternoon in Mequon, Wis.
 
The Falcons in their home opener put on a strong performance against the Jacks. Northland was held scoreless in the first half and trailed 15-0. Cody Pfaller scored the first goal of the 2024 season for Northland, unassisted in the third quarter and Matt Maudsley added one more. Phil Peacy scored the final goal for NC.
 
Maudsley led the team with four shots on goals with Peacy behind him at three. Avery Roerick rounded out the top three with two shots. PJ Northrop and Luke Ballard totaled three ground balls pacing the team. Max Shaffer and Pfaller both had a team-high two caused turnovers.
 
Tony Donaldson started the game in net and made 14 saves.
