ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Women's Basketball team was defeated 88-23 at home by Cornell College Saturday afternoon in Ashland, Wis.

The offense was then held quiet for the majority of the quarter. Hannah Peel went 1-of-2 from the line and Josephson made a jump to end the scoring in the opening quarter.

Hanna Hoskin had five of the Northland points in the second half starting with a three-pointer assisted by Rempp and then was 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. As time was expiring Altaha made a layup with Peel assisting on the make.

In the third quarter, Northland was only able to score one point with a free throw from Hoskin. The Jills had their chances but went 0-for-13 from the field.

Hoskin continued to pace the team into the fourth quarter with the team's first points on a two-point jumper. Josephson found herself back on the scorer's sheet with a jump shot. To end the game Hoskin had the final five points from a three pointer and jumper.
