Northland finishes the season in 31st at the NCAA Regional Championships

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Northland College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams concluded their 2024 season at the NCAA Regional Championships Saturday morning in Northfield, Minn. The LumberJills finished 31st, and three LumberJacks competed as individuals.  
 
The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse won both the team titles on the Men's and Women's sides. Mohammed Bati from Augsburg won the individual title for the men and  Hannah Preisser from Charleton College won for the women.
 
Northland finished in 31st at the NCAA Regional Championship with all five runners finishing all within a minute. Madie Linka led the Jills with a time of 35:13.5, setting a new personal best. Madi Kirn and Hayla Woody also set personal records at the meet. On the men's side, Brandon Faber led Northland with a time of 34:56.7.
