DULUTH, Minn. – The Northland College Women's Cross Country team competed at the Bulldog Open on Thursday afternoon, in Duluth, Minn.

Northland had two student-athletes competing as individuals. Freshman
Amelia Wiesner had the seventh-best time out of all the freshmen runners with a time of 20:50.8 and placed 21
st overall. Junior
Josie Fritz clocked in at 27:11.6 for the 5k.

Winning the Bulldog Open was the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and representing the Bulldogs and finishing first overall was Lauryn Renier.

Next week Northland will compete at The Running of the Cows in Northfield, Minn. The 6k race will start at 11:30 a.m., following the men's race.
