St. Paul, MN - The Northland College Lumberjills dropped both games of a double header on the road against the University of Northwestern Eagles on Friday evening. With the wins the Eagles are now 10-7 and 4-0 in the UMAC while the Jills are 1-17 and 0-4 in the UMAC.
Jenna Reyes and
Allison Kile each had two hits for the Jills in the first game.
Elizabeth Peters drove in two runs as well.
Sofia Garcia struck out two over five innings of work.
Kile picked up another two hits in game two and
Kaylee Harnack homered to centerfield in game two.
Ariana Wilson pitched all five innings for the Jills and stuck out four on the game.
The Jills are in action tomorrow when they travel to UM-Morris for another UMAC doubleheader. The first game is set to start at 1:00PM.
