RIVER FOREST, IL--- The Northland College Men's Lacrosse team traveled to River Forest, IL this afternoon for a nonconference matchup against Concordia University Chicago. The Jacks cruised to a 15-2 victory over Concordia-Chicago.

After scoring two goals in the first (Anden Stroik & Jakob Wohlford) the Jacks scored 7 more goals from Wohlford, Hoy Kelley, Bailey Lang, Brodie Trollop and Cody Pfaller to take the commanding 9-0 lead. Concordia scored their first goal of today's late in the second but the Jacks took a 9-1 lead into halftime. 

The LumberJacks continued to shine in the second half with goals coming from Wohlford, Trollop, Pfaller, and Matt Maudsley to take today's game 15-2 over Concordia. 

Viktor Wennberg (5 saves) and Elijah Clark (4 saves) each saw time in net today for the Jacks. 

Jakob Wohlford continued his hot start of the 2022 season scoring 6 goals and adding 3 assists in today's win. 

Alistair Hearmon led all LumberJacks with 7 caused turnovers. 

The Jacks are back in action this Wednesday as they host Lake Forest College, opening Midwest Lacrosse Conference league play. Game time at Ponzio Stadium is set for 2pm.
