MADISON, Wis.--- The Northland College Men's Lacrosse team traveled to Madison, WI this afternoon for a non-conference matchup against Edgewood College. The Jacks used five goals in the first half and four more in the second picking up the 9-5 win over the Eagles. Today's win improves the LumberJacks record to 3-3 on the season.

It was all LumberJacks to open today's game as Jakob Wohlford and Christopher Lesh collected goals giving Northland the early 2-0 lead in the first. The Eagles were able to tie the game later in first but the Jacks would respond with four straight goals from Wohlford taking the 5-2 lead into halftime. Tristan Petrie would cut through the Eagles defense to open the second half with a high light reel goal and Cody Pfaller added another to give the Jacks the 7-2 lead. Wohlford and Petrie later collected insurance goals in the fourth as the Jacks would cruise to the 9-5 victory over Edgewood. 

Viktor Wennberg played strong in net today for the Jacks collecting 10 saves. 

Bailey Lang and Aidan Hood led all LumberJacks with 7 ground balls. Hood also continued his strong start to the season on defense with 5 caused turnovers. 

The Jacks are back in action this Saturday (March 26) as they travel to Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, IL. Game time is set for 12pm.
