SLEEPY HALLOW, FL--- After having to cancel the two games that were scheduled this morning due to weather, the Jills were able to continue their Florida swing of games this evening against Bluffton University. After falling in a 4-0 hole after two innings, the Jills were able to explode for 4 innings in the top of the third but ultimately fall in 7 innings 7-4 to Bluffton.

After giving up two runs in the bottom of the first and two more in the bottom of the second, the Jills would explode for four runs to tie the game as
Kaylee Harnack hammered a single up the middle, scoring
McKenna Freerksen. Later in the inning,
Elizabeth Peters hit a 2 rbi single up the middle, scoring
Jenna Reyes and
Kaylee Harnack to make it 4-3. Kayle Preisler would tie the game 4-4 with a sac fly, scoring
Saylor Donnelly. After a scoreless 4th inning, Bluffton would tack on three runs to retake the lead 7-4. The Jills would try to rally in the top of the 7th after a lead off walk from Lenis Tomasini but were unable to bring any runs around and fall to Bluffton 7-4.
Saylor Donnelly led all LumberJills at the plate going 2-3 with 2 rbi's.
The Jills will wrap up play in Florida tomorrow (3/11) with a rematch against Marian University (12:30 EST) and close out the trip against Nebraska Wesleyan University (5:15 EST).
