LEGENDS WAY, FL--- The Northland College Softball team wrapped up their games in Florida this afternoon with two games against Marian University and Nebraska Wesleyan University. The Jills would fall to Marian 8-2 and later drop their match to Nebraska Wesleyan 15-4.
Game 1 Box Score
After trailing 2-0 after two innings, the Jills evened the score in the top of the third as
Jenna Reyes crushed a 2 rbi homerun to make it a 2-2 game. Marian would however respond, scoring 5 runs in the fourth and added an insurance run in the 6th to take today's game 8-2 over the Jills.
Ariana Wilson led all LumberJills at the plate with two hits in game one.

In game two against Nebraska Wesleyan, the Jills found themselves quickly in a 14-0 hole but added 3 runs in the bottom of the third as
Jenna Reyes hit an rbi single and
Sofia Garcia added a 2 rbi single to center field. Garcia added her third rbi of the game in the 5th but it wouldn't be enough as the Jills would fall by a final score of 15-4.
The Jills are back in action on March 26th as they take on Ripon College in a double header.
