Northland Women's Hockey dropped a non-conference home contest on Friday night to Lake Forest College 0-7.

The Northland College Women's Hockey team returned to the Bay Area Civic Center on Friday night to host the Lake Forest Foresters for a non-conference match. The LumberJills were unable to find the net in the contest, ultimately dropping the game 0-7.

The Foresters offense was on display early and often in the contest as they out-shot the LumberJills 50-11. Corrin Hanson got the nod in goal for Northland. She tallied 43 saves on the night.

Northland (2-8-1, 0-4-0) will be on the road on Saturday afternoon as they head to UW-Stevens Point for a conference matchup. Face off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Midwest Lacrosse Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
