MANKATO, Minn.--- For the fourth time in four seasons, the LumberJack Soccer team qualified for the UMAC post season tournament as they traveled to Mankato, Minnesota Wednesday evening to take on Bethany Lutheran College in the UMAC "Final Four". BLC scored the go-ahead goal halfway through the second half to take the match 2-1 over the Jacks.

It was the home team who threw the first punch in today's semi final matchup as BLC scored just seven minutes into today's match to take the early 1-0 lead. The Jacks were able to quickly respond as Harrison Tibbetts netted his 5th goal of the season to tie the match 1-1. He was assisted by Julian Swensen on the goal. Minutes later the Jacks had a quality scoring chance off the foot of Nick Diaz but was denied to keep the score even at 1. BLC was able to muster a late flurry in the half but goalkeeper 
Jamie Colvill and company would keep the score tied 1-1 into halftime. BLC opened the second half on the attack as Colvill made six consecutive saves to keep the score 1-1 before BLC finally broke through the tie at the 69' mark of the second to take the 2-1 lead. The Jacks continued to fight to the end but were unable to find the equalizer, falling in today's match 2-1 over BLC. 
Colvill made 9 saves in net today for the Jacks.
The Jacks finish the season with an 8-8-5 overall record (7-3-4 UMAC).
