ASHLAND, Wis.--- The Northland College Women's Soccer team hosted Minnesota Morris this evening at Ponzio Stadium in a UMAC conference matchup with playoff implications on the line. The Jills, who needed a win and some help to make the post season, were shutout 3-0 to Morris.

The Jills opened the game firing on a cylinders with shots from Liberty Dickerson and
Izzy Haverkampf as the score remained 0-0. Minutes later, momentum shifted to Morris with back to back shots and shortly after back to back goals at the 18' and 21' mark of the first half to take the early 2-0 lead. With time winding down in the half, Morris scored an insurance goal with a blast outside the box to make it 3-0 as the Cougars took the lead into the half. The Jills continued to fight in the second half as Greta Keffer, Dickerson and Haverkampf continued to pepper the keeper from Morris but were unable to find the back of the net as Morris won by a final score of 3-0.
Morris out shot the Jills 13-8 in tonight's game. Elysabeth Lough made 4 saves in net.
The Jills finish the 2022 season with a 4-10-4 record and finished 6th in the UMAC with a 3-7-4 conference record.
