Northland College Women's Volleyball hosted the #5 ranked Eagles of Northwestern on Friday night, ultimately dropping the match 3-0.

Northland College opened their final home stand of the season as they played host for a late-season UMAC volleyball contest on Friday night at the Kendrigan Center to a ranked foe, University of Northwestern. The LumberJills were unable to knock-off the #5 team in the nation as they dropped the contest 13-25, 16-25 and 16-25.
The LumberJills were lead by
Shelby Justman (who tied for the game-high with 10 kills),
Elizabeth Montgomery (5 kills) and
Bailey Wynn (4 kills). Meghan Van Gheem and
Rachel Callow each had double-digit assists with 11 and 10 assists respectively. Wynn andÂ

Larissa Fossum added six digs to lead Northland.
Northland (8-12, 3-8 UMAC) will be back in the Kendrigan Center on Saturday at 1:00 PM to take on North Central University for the final UMAC home game of the year.
