St. Paul, MN - The Northland College LumberJills took on the University of Northwestern Eagles on Saturday afternoon and despite a strong first quarter, ultimately lost by a score of 81-37. The Jills are now 0-6 in the UMAC and 1-11 overall while the Eagles improved to 9-5 on the year and 4-1 in the UMAC.
Miranda Wagner had 14 points for the Jills and
Bryza Pizano added nine on a perfect 4-4 shooting night.
The Jills are in action next on Wednesday when they host UW-Superior at 7:00PM.
