Ashland, WI - The Northland College Lumberjills took on the UW-Superior Yellowjackets on Wednesday evening and despite outscoring the Yellowjackets in the 4th quarter, lost the UMAC contest by a score of 74-52. The Yellowjackets improved to 4-12 on the year and 3-4 in the UMAC. The Jills are now 1-12 and 0-7 in the UMAC.
Miranda Wagner led the Jills with 18 points on 8-15 shooting. This was Wagner's 8th game in a row with double figures in points.
Hayley Humphrey added 11 points on 4-6 shooting.
The Jills are in action next on Saturday when they travel to UW-Superior. Tipoff is set for 3:00PM.
