Jills Drop Match to Macalaster in Home Opener

ASHLAND, Wis.--- The Northland College Women's Soccer team hosted Macalaster College this afternoon at Ponzio Stadium in their 2021 home opener. The Jills fell 7-0 to a very strong team from Macalaster College.

Macalaster used 2 goals in the first half and 5 more in the second to take today's match 7-0 over the Jills. Elysabeth Lough made 12 saves in net today for Northland College. 

The Jills will have a quick turnaround before their next match as they travel to Hancock, MI in a non-conference neutral site game vs. Mount Mary University. Game time is set to start at 11:00AM.
