Stevens Point, WI - The Jacks found the back of the net three times on Monday evening but it wasn't enough as the UW-Stevens Point Pointers advanced to the WIAC Semi-Finals with a 6-3 win.
After the Pointers jumped out to a 2-0 lead,
Cole Woodliffe got the Jacks scoring started with a goal late in the first period to bring his team back within one. The Pointers responded with two goals to open the second period. Trailing 4-1,
Cameron Coutre and
Bailey Shaver both scored for the Jacks in a two minute span to bring the game back within a single goal going into the final period.
The Jacks were unable to pull the game even in the third as the Pointers added two more to pull head for good.
Chris Curr made 62 stops in net for the Jacks.
