Pointers top Jills

Stevens Point, Wis. – The Northland College LumberJills jumped out to an early first period lead, but the UW-Stevens Point Pointers used three goals in the second period to secure a 3-1 win on Wednesday evening.  
    Elle Black found the back of the net for the Jills on an assist from Jess Jerome.  Soleil Archambeault made 49 saves in net for the Jills.
    The Pointers and LumberJills close out the home-and-home on Saturday (Feb. 27) in Ashland. Puck drop is set for 3:00 p.m.
