Ashland, WI - The Northland College Lumberjacks fell to the visiting UW-Eau Claire Blu Golds 3-0 on Friday Evening.  The Jacks are now 0-4 in the WIAC and 2-6-1 overall while the Blu Golds improved to 2-1 in the WIAC and 4-6 overall. 
    Both teams played more than 50 minutes of scoreless hockey as it wasn't until late in the third period when the Blu Golds took the lead.  The Jacks pushed for an equalizer but ultimately the Blu Golds would add two more to put the game out of reach.  Chris Curr made 48 saves in net for the Jacks.
    The Jacks are in action tomorrow when they travel to UW-Stevens Point for a 7:05PM game.
