Ashland, WI – The Northland College Lumberjills took on the UW-Superior Yellowjackets at home in their final regular season game on Saturday evening.  The Yellowjackets used three goals in the third period to seal a 5-1 win.

Madysen Zachmeier got the Jills on the board with an unassisted goal in the third period to make the score 3-1.  But the Yellowjackets added two more towards the end of the period to put the game out of reach.

Gabby Suhr made 35 saves in goal for the Jills. 

The Jills travel to UW-Stevens Point on Friday for a two game playoff matchup with the Pointers.
