Stout, WI - The Northland College Lumberjacks lost a tough road game to UW-Stout on Thursday evening.  The Jacks trailed 3-2 after the first period but the Blue Devils were able to break the game open in the second, eventually downing the Jacks by a final score of 7-2.
 
Kyle Pouncy and Kurt Sonne found the back of the net for the Jacks.  The Jacks created several opportunities throughout the evening and were only out shot by the Blue Devils 39-35, but the Blue Devils offense proved to be more efficient for the game. 
 
The Jacks have an opportunity to rebound quickly as they host the Blue Devils today at 7:00pm.
