Ashland, WI - The Northland College Lumberjacks hosted the College of Saint Scholastica Saints on Wednesday evening.  The Saints used a late run in the first half to start to pull away from the Jacks, and ultimately they were able to hang on for a 96-77 win.  The Jacks are now 1-5 in the UMAC while the Saints improved to 5-2. 

The Jacks were led by Benny Larry Jr. who had a team high 16 points on 6-12 shooting.  Harley Shear added 12 points and eight rebounds while shooting 6-10 from the floor. 

The Jacks are in action next on Saturday when they host Martin Luther College.
