Jills Finish Up Day 1 in Beloit

Beloit, WI-

The Northland College Volleyball team traveled to Beloit, WI today for day 1 of the Buc Blast Invitational. The Jills would fall in both games 3-0 vs. Beloit College and Olivet College.

In game one, the Jills would fall in three sets to Beloit College, (25-18, 25-14, 25-15). Dez LaPointe would lead the Jills in kills with 8, Justin Litherland would chip in with 6. Emma Rusch would lead the Jills with 20 assists. Kennedi Bernia added 17 digs for the Jills. 

The Jills fell in game two vs. Olivet, 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-17). Bailey Wynn led all LumberJills with 10 kills. Dez LaPointe would add 6. Wynn would also lead all LumberJills in digs with 12.

The Jills will look to rebound on day two of the Buc Blast Invitational vs. Martin Luther College (11am) and Mount Mary University (1pm). 

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
