The Northland College Volleyball looked to turn it around on day two of the Buc Blast Inivitational and they did just that, picking up the sweep with wins over Martin Luther College (3-1) and Mount Mary University (3-0).

In game one vs. Martin Luther College, the Jills would come out of the gates in dominating fashion, winning in 4 sets, 25-18, 25-23, 21-25, 25-15. Bailey Wynn, would lead all LumberJills in kills (7), aces (2) and blocks (2). Emma Rusch would have a nice game with 20 assists in the game. Kennedi Bernia would lead all LumberJills with 10 digs. 

In game two, the Jills would take down Mount Mary in three sets, 25-15, 25-13 and 25-18. Wynn would lead the Jills again in game two with 9 kills. Rusch would add an incredible, 30 assists in game two finish the day with 50 assists. Vivienne Kallio would find her groove at the line with 4 aces. 

The Jills would finish 2-2 at the Buc Blast Invite and Emma Rusch was named to the all-tournament team for her efforts over the weekend. The Jills will host their annual Northland College Invitational next weekend (9-6/9-7). Game one vs. Nebraska Weselyan is set to start at 3pm. 

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
