The Northland College Baseball team traveled to Normal, IL today for a non-conference game vs. Robert Morris- Peoria. The Jacks would win in convincing fashion, scoring 8 runs in a 8-1 victory.

Adrian Bethel would get the start on the mound for the Jacks, as it took both teams some figuring out at the plate early on. The Jacks would strike first in the top of the third inning as
Jake Schramm would each on an error, scoring
Garrett Warren to make it 1-0.
Jake Schramm would continue his hot hitting in the fourth inning, ripping a 2 rbi single, scoring Warren and
Joseph Veit. Warren would also later score off a wild pitch to make it 4-0 in favor of the Jacks. Robert Morris would add a run in the 5th inning but the Jacks would respond in the 6th with 4 runs as
Adrian Bethel would put the icing on the cake, reaching on an error and advancing to second as
Kyle Pouncy and
Carson Ferry would score to make it 8-1.
Jonathan Knusta would come in to close the door in the 7th and the Jacks would go on to a 8-1 victory.
Bethel would pitch a gem, going 6 innings, giving up 7 hits and striking out 7 hitters.
Adrian Bethel would lead all Jacks hitters with 3 hits.
The Jacks are back in action tomorrow (3/31) for a double-headers vs. Robert Morris- Peoria. Game one is set for 12pm.
