Ashland, WI – The Lumberjills took on the Lions of Finlandia University in what would be a fantastic game.  The Lions would strike first early on in the first period, however, the Jills would answer with two goals of their own to win their second consecutive game.
 
Early on in the first period, the Lions would tally the first goal of the game.  Subsequently, Gabby Suhr would come up with a few big time saves in the first to keep the Lumberjills within striking distance.
 
In the 2^nd period, the Jills would start to heat up.  Within the first five minutes of the period, the Jills would score twice.  Both goals were scored by karadyn Kiviaho.  The second goal would end up being the game winner.
 
Kelly Rider's Jills improve to (2-1) on the year.  They take on Concordia College of Minnesota on Friday, November 8^th in Moorhead.
