De Pere, WI - The Jacks two game winning streak came to an end on Saturday afternoon as they fell on the road to the St. Norbert Green Knights by a score of 97-57. The Jacks are now 2-4 on the year.
Benny Larry Jr. led the way for the Jacks with 19 points on an efficient 6 of 12 shooting.
George Butvilas led the team on the glass with five rebounds while also adding 11 points on 3-6 of shooting.
The Jacks hung with the Green Knights early on and actually led 19-17 after two free throws from Larry Jr. with 10:39 left in the first half. After back to back baskets from the Knights, Larry Jr. hit a three pointer to give the Jacks a 22-21 lead. The Green Knights defense took control from there and only allowed six more points in the half from the Jacks, which allowed them to pull away from the Jacks.
The Jacks are in action next on Tuesday when they travel to Concordia University at St. Paul. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00pm.
