Ashland, WI - The Northland College Lumberjacks picked up their second win in a row on Wednesday evening as they cruised to a 127-46 victory over the Oak Hills Christian Wolfpack. The win improves the Jacks record to 2-3, while the Wolfpack drop to 0-10.
The Jacks made quick work of the Wolfpack by jumping out to an early 17-2 lead after a three pointer from
Hunter Moe. The Wolfpack briefly cut the lead to 13, but the Jacks quickly put the game out of reach by outscoring the Wolfpack by 23 over the final 9:05 of the first half.
The Jacks continued to shoot the ball well in the second half and extended their lead to 50 just five minutes into the half. The Jacks caught fire from deep and hit 13 three pointers in the half on 62% shooting.
The Wolfpack struggled to limit the chances for the Jacks as they were out rebounded in the game 52-18.
Hunter Moe had 21 points on 10-11 shooting for the Jacks. Benny Larry Jr. had 15 points, and
Alex Schmidt and
Diego Carter each had 14. Every player for the Jacks found themselves in the scoring column for the game. Will Richmond led the Wolfpack in scoring with 17 points.
The Jacks are in action next on November 23rd when they travel to St. Norbert College. Tip off is set for 3:00pm.
