Minneapolis, MN - The Jacks continued with their challenging set of opening games on Wednesday in Minneapolis against nationally ranked Augsburg University. The Auggies entered the contest ranked #23rd in the nation by D3hoops.com.
The Jacks hung with the Auggies early on, and led 10-8 after a three pointer from freshman
Jordan Brennan. The Auggies, however, started to catch fire shooting and went on a 19-2 run to open up a 15 point lead, and eventually closed the game out for a 102-54 win.
Brennan led the Jacks with 13 points on an efficient 6-10 shooting. Benny Larry Jr. added nine points and
Max May added eight points while going 2-3 from three point range.
The loss drops the Jacks to 0-3, with all three games having been against very strong opposition and on the road. The Jacks play at home for the first time on November 16th against Maranatha Baptist. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00pm.
