The Jills traveled to Adrian, MI today for a conference matchup against the #6 ranked Adrian College Bulldogs.
The teams came out evenly matched in the first, as they would skate up and down the ice battling for control of the puck. The Jills would land shots on goal, but the Bulldogs were able to keep the puck out of the net. The Bulldogs broke the tie late in the period and would be able to score an insurance goal before the first intermission. The Jills went into the second period down 2-0.
The Bulldogs pressured the Jills throughout the period, tallying shots on net. However, the Jills would play tough defense and keep the Bulldogs at bay. They would create scoring opportunities, but weren't able to cut down the Bulldogs' lead before the end of the period.
The Jills would struggle to get their offense going in the third. However, they would continue their strong defensive showing. The Jills would again threaten to chip away at the Bulldogs' lead, but wouldn't be able to get on the board. The Bulldogs would score a goal late in the period, taking the match 3-0.

The Jills will play at Adrian College again tomorrow (11/4). Puck drop is scheduled for 3pm (EST).
