The LumberJills hosted Upper Midwest Athletic Conference opponent Bethany Lutheran College today at the Chapple Family Gymnasium.
The teams came out evenly matched in set 1, as they would keep each other close going point for point. The Vikings would pull away, but the Jills would rally back to tie it up at 17-17. However, it wouldn't be enough as the Vikings would hold on to win 25-21.
Set 2 would mirror the first set, as the teams would trade leads multiple times throughout the set. The Jills would control the match late in the set, but the Vikings would be able to rally back and win 25-22.
The Jills struck first in the third set. However, the Vikings would once again rally back to tie it up. The Jills would keep their offense firing on all cylinders in the set and would retake the lead late, but it wouldn't be enough as the Vikings would come back to win 25-19.
Vivienne Kallio, led the Jills with 7 kills, while
Hannah Hitchcock led with 9 assists.
Adrianna Galtieri finished the match with a team high 18 digs.

The Jills will play again 10/16 at home against Finlandia University and the North Central University Rams.
