Kyle Bernhoft

Kyle Bernhoft returns for his fifth season as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Northland College Women's Basketball team after having previously served as a volunteer assistant during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.
 
Prior to being hired at Northland, Bernhoft founded and developed the Northland Elite Basketball Club, a youth basketball organization which competes in regional AAU tournaments.
 
Before founding Northland Elite, Bernhoft was the Head Girls Basketball Coach and Business Teacher at Mellen (WI) High School. The Granite Diggers won 34 games in Kyle's three seasons as coach and appeared in the 2014 WIAA Regional Championship.
 
 Prior to Mellen, Bernhoft served as Assistant Girls Basketball Coach and Business Teacher at Sheboygan Falls (WI) High School, coaching many of the players who would win the 2012-13 Eastern Wisconsin Conference Championship.
 
Bernhoft graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where he earned his degree in Marketing and Business Education.  While at Stout, he worked with both the men's and women's basketball programs as a student-assistant.  The Lady Blue Devils won three consecutive WIAC regular season and tournament championships during his time there.  
During his senior year at Stout, Kyle served as the Head Boys Basketball Coach for the Butternut-Glidden co-op high school program.
 
Kyle and his wife Jenna have two daughters, Ava (11) and Allison (9).
