FOND DU LAC, Wis.--- The Northland College Lacrosse team continued non-conference play in Fond Du Lac, WI this afternoon against Marian University. After taking the early 3-1 lead in the first, the Jacks allowed 5 goals in the second and 3 more in the second half to fall 9-6 over the Sabres.

The LumberJacks wasted little time getting things going early today, scoring back to back goals from
Anden Stroik and
Jackson Breton to make it 2-0. After a late Marian goal in the first,
Kyle Parker gave found the back of the net to give the Jacks the 3-1 lead. The Jacks continued their momentum in the second as
Brodie Trollop scored a man up goal to make it 4-1. Minutes later, Marian was able to find their grove, scoring 5 consecutive goals to take a 6-4 lead into the half.
Marian continued their pressure over the Jacks to open the second half, scoring two goals before Trollop scored his second goal of the game to make it 8-5.
Kyle Parker was also able to net his second goal of the game late in the 4th but it would be too little, too late for the Jacks, as the fell to Marian University 9-6.
Tony Donaldson made 15 saves in net today for the Jacks.
The Jacks are back in action next Saturday (March 18th) as they travel to Mequon, WI to take on Concordia WI. Game time is set for 12PM.
