ASHLAND, Wis.--- The Northland College Volleyball team continued UMAC conference play tonight at the Kendrigan Center as they hosted Bethany Lutheran College. The Jills put up a dominating performance, winning in three sets (25-10, 25-22, 25-22) over the visiting Vikings.

In the first set, the Jills went on an 8-0 run to open the match up 9-1. Shelby Justman capped off the first set with back to back kills as the Jills would win the first, 25-10. In the second, BLC would respond to take the 15-9 lead mid way through the set. After a Larissa Fossum kill to make it 15-12 in favor of BLC, the Jills once again found themselves in a hole, down 18-14. But again the Jills crawled back into the set and made it 21-21 before four consecutive points and a Fossum killed sealed game two to give the Jills the 2-0 lead. In the third, the Jills used two, five point runs to take the 15-8 lead. Elizabeth Montgomery and Fossum closed things out late in the set as the Jills came away victorious 25-22 in the set to win the match 3-0 over the Vikings. 

Fossum led all LumberJills with 12 kills in today's match. Rachel Callow collected 27 assists and Alexa Zadra had 13 digs in this evenings win. 

The Jills will have a quick turnaround as they host Martin Luther College tomorrow (9/24) at the Kendrigan Center. Game time is set for 1pm.
