St. Paul, MN – The Northland College Lumberjacks wrapped up their regular season series with the University of Northwestern Eagles in a Saturday afternoon. The Eagles were ultimately able to come away with the win and improve to a league leading 14-4 record.
The Eagles used five runs in the fifth inning to jump out to a big lead in game one and take an 11-0 win.
Christian Goodson pitched the first three innings for the Jacks and only allowed two runs on five hits.
The Jacks are in action next on Tuesday when they host UW-Superior. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00PM.
