TUCSON, AZ--- The Northland College Baseball team concluded it's games in Arizona today in a double-header against Wheaton College (IL) and Sul Ross State University. The Jacks would fall to Wheaton in game one, 14-1 and drop their match to Sul Ross 13-1.
Game 1
Wheaton used runs in the third through the sixth innings to jump out to the early 14-0 lead.
Maks Onyx would get the lone run for the Jacks with an rbi double in the 7th, scoring
Matt Simpson in today's 14-1 loss to Wheaton College.
Seth Hackbarth,
Anthony Boyle,
Matthew Traeger, Austin Tellefsen and
Hunter Wicklund would each see time on the mound in game one for the Jacks.
Isaac Voelker-Morris lead all LumberJacks at the plate with two hits.
Game 2
In game two, Sul Ross used runs in the first and second inning and runs in the fourth through sixth innings to take the 13-0 lead.
Anthony Boyle would get the lone run for the Jacks in the 7th inning, scoring
Peyton Solberg in today's 13-1 final.
The Jacks are back in action next weekend as the travel to Eau Claire, WI for a double header on March 18th.
