New Ulm, MN - The Northland College Lumberjills couldn't overcome a tough second quarter as they fell on the road to the Martin Luther College Knights by a score of 75-57.
The Jills battled in the first quarter and only trailed 21-18 going into the second, but the Knights outscored the Jills 27-12 over the next ten minutes to take a 18 point lead into the break. The second half was evenly played enroute to the 75-57 final score.
Bryza Pizano led the Jills was 17 points on 6-11 shooting.
Miranda Wagner had 13 points and
Hayley Humphrey added ten points.
Raniya White and Pizano led the team with six rebounds each.
The Jills are in action next on Friday when they host University of Northwestern.
