Superior, WI - The Northland College LumberJills fell to the UW-Superior YellowJackets on Wednesday evening in the first round of the WIAC playoffs by a score of 5-2.

The Jills gave the YellowJackets a scare as Karadyn Kiviaho scored the games opening two goals to give the Jills a 2-0 lead.  The Jills were able to take that 2-0 lead into the second period, but the YellowJackets responded with four goals in the second period and a fifth in the third.  

Soleil Archambeault made 43 saves in net for the Jills.
